Hey there! We're Team Iran and we're stoked to be part of FIRST Global, representing real Iran and real people! We're a team of five STEM enthusiasts coming together to rock this competition.

Iran is a country of lit science, culture, and some sick nature. We've got a 2500-year history with legendary poets like Hafez, Sadi, and Molavi (Roomi), and genius scientists like Kharazmi, Khayyam, Soofi, and Avicenna who represent love, kindness, and peace to the world.

Shout out to all our friends around the world in FGC! It's so rad to see science and robotics breaking geopolitical borders and bringing international students together to make friends.

Amin Dadkhah (Captain & Programmer)

Yo, I'm Amin and I'm 16. I've been into robotics since I was 11 and programming is my jam. I love solving unfamiliar problems with coding. I've been to FGC 2017 and I'm hyped to be back for more. Math is my favorite subject in school and I'm aiming to study computer science in college. The thing I dig most about robots is the innovation and creation, especially when it comes to programming.

Our dream:
Our dream for participating in FIRST Global goes beyond just competing. We want to pave the way for easier access to STEM.

WE BELIEVE IN GREAT IDEAS
FIRST Global Challenge is cooperation of all the countries around the world, to solve global issues We, Team Iran, as a participant consider it as our duty to implement our ideas toward solving these issues

TECHNOLOGY

Pouria Mizbani (Driver & Mechanic)

What's up, it's Pouria, 17 and ready to roll. I've been building robots with our mentor since I was 8 and I'm all about that DIY life. I've been rocking the Lego league since I was 14. I'm also into rap music and rapping myself. Aerospace engineering is my dream major in college. What I love most about robots is the recklessness, you never know what they're gonna do!

Keynoosh Zare (Speaker Person & Mechanic)

Hey, I'm Keynoosh, 16 and stoked to be the first girl representing Iran in FGC. I hope this inspires other Iranian girls to break gender barriers in robotics. I got into robotics at 14 and I'm also an artist, especially into illustration. My dream major in college is fine arts. I love building and the innovation in mechanical parts, but the future of robots can be kinda scary.

Kamdin Zare (Mechanic)

What's good, I'm Kamdin, 18 and I got into robotics through our mentor when I was 10. I've rocked the Lego NXT and Lego EV3. Currently studying engineering but my real passion is soundtracks. I love playing piano, Xbox, and driving. What I love most about robots is building and creating something that actually works. As for the future of robots, I just hope they don't get too smart for their own good.

Mohammad hoseini (Mechanic)

Sup, it's Mohammad, 16 and I've been working in robotics for a year. In my free time, I like to write and read. Physics is my jam at school and I'm aiming to study mechanics or industrial design in college. The future of AI and deep learning is what excites me most about robots.

Mohammadreza Karami (Mentor)

I'm Mohammadreza, the team's mentor, and I'm 25. I made my first robot when I was 12 and coached my first national team when I was 18. I've got 14 inventions and participated in over 70 robotic events. Being part of FIRST Global for 2 years is such an honor. It's an amazing opportunity for any mentor, and I'm psyched to be part of it.

Our dream for participating in FIRST Global goes beyond just competing. We want to pave the way for easier access to STEM.
