Breaking Barriers with Friendship and Robotics

Iran, a land of science, culture, and breathtaking natural beauty, boasts a rich history that spans over 2500 years. Renowned poets like Hafez, Sadi, and Molavi, and scientists like Kharazmi, Khayam, and Avicenna have all contributed to Iran's heritage of love, kindness, and peace.

As representatives of this great country, we extend a warm welcome to all our friends from around the world at the FIRST Global Olympics. We are thrilled that once again, research and robotics have transcended political boundaries, proving that people from diverse cultures and religions can come together in the spirit of friendship and cooperation to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges, such as water scarcity.

The Iran team comprises of three talented students and one dedicated coach. Poriya Mizbani, an experienced team member, serves as the team's mechanic.

Amin Dadkhah, the team's programmer, not only brings his technical expertise to the team but also acts as the coach's voice, ensuring that the team functions seamlessly. Although he is new to robotics, Amin has a bright future ahead of him.

Finally, Alireza Khalili, the team captain, has been tinkering with electronics since he was seven years old. Despite being just 18, he is one of the most well-known programmers in Iran and has been a student of the coach for a long time.

Our mentor, Mohammadreza Karami, built his first robot at the age of 12 and has been coaching national teams since he was 18. He has 14 inventions to his credit and has participated in over 70 robotics events. He is also a gifted writer and poet.

This year, our team is proud to have American members who helped bring our ideas to life by building a robot for us when we were unable to secure a kit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sam Allen, Elena, Kiki, Christian, and all the kind-hearted individuals who made this possible.

We eagerly look forward to meeting everyone in Washington and showcasing our skills and friendship on the global stage.
